The brigade have been notified that our grant application for the FaHCSIA Volunteers 2010 Grants Program has been successful.

The brigade requested $5000 for

  • Whipper Snipper
  • Ride on mower
  • Gardening/Landcare Tools/Blower Vac/Equipment
  • GPS/UHF Radio/Transceivers
  • Whiteboard (portable)
  • High Pressure Cleaner

NRMA Community Safety Projects Grant Success PDF Print E-mail

The brigade were successful in being accepted for a grant from NRMA Community Safety Projects 2010.

The amount the brigade applied for was $5000 for the following projects

Obtaining a Brigade Marquee for providing shelter at our Community Engagement Days and Events 

Luminous markers to demonstrate gate, rural road number and static water source marking

Set up of "fire friendly " garden to show types of plants that can be used to reduce the impact of fire

Gulgong DC will be conducting a Community Engagement Exercise at Montaza Estate, Laheys Creek. 10th July. Members will be working in teams to provide bushfire education and awareness to the community.
